We are dealing with things unseen. No Scientific method can comprehend.

Although they are not easy to comprehend, we can experience them. And the Bible is one of the testimony of the invisible by which we can be grounded.
The Basics: The Shema
To those among us, who claimed to have a third eye, that can see the unseen among the humans, and to those who have been visited and have communicated with the unseen beings. Here is how to test them, whether they are of the Almighty or of the devil, the demons.
First of all is the Knowledge that, YHWH, our Elohim is One. That is the cardinal number One .
“Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one!

John here, refers to both the unseen spirits, and also a man influenced by such a spirit, he identifies for us, as a false prophet.
Please note: These demonic spirits can possessed a man as narrated in Mark 5:1-20 -- about a fearsome man possessed with 2000 demons.
Also 2Co 11:14 states: Satan disguises himself into an angel of light. Satan is an angel -- a fallen angel. And angels can appear as men. In Genesis Chapter 18 - Three angels appeared as men to Abraham for the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah.)
Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

So John refers to both the unseen spirits appearing as men and false prophets -- men teaching what the Almighty did not give to Moshe and Yahushua to teach -- the Torah. But from the Father of lies. (John 8:44)
You are of the Devil as father, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. That one was a murderer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own, because he is a liar, and the father of it.

The actions we are to take are "believe" and "try/prove/test/check/verify".
In order to do that, the
First action we take is to hear the message, or receive the message, and understand the message.
Second: check the message whether it agrees with the next phrase after the comma ~ 1John 4:1b.
Third: also check the message whether it agrees with the next verses ~ 1John 4:2,3.
Fourth, we decide: If it does not agree, we are to "do-not-believe".
It is cleared positively when all of the above is satisfied positively.
Otherwise, it means do-not-believe.
The second step above is already covered in the previous post -- Testing Doctrines. This must be satisfied positively, personally, firsthand as well.
The message may come in any form -- books, periodicals, magazines, media, sermon, even scientific facts, and the like.
False Prophets
Another meaning of "spirit" is the essence of a being. In this case it is identified as false prophets. The authors that do not have the Spirit of YHWH. ~ (1Jn 4:2)

How To Identify These False Prophets

Those things can easily be recognized by the man of Yah, who knows the Master Yahushua. And a false prophet can also do away with those things. That is why Yahushua calls them wolves in sheeps' clothing. (Mat 7:15)
These are the fruits of the spirit. And this is just one side of the coin -- fruit. They can wear this clothing as an outward appearance and not be easily recognized as ravening wolves.
As a matter of fact, when you reason with them, their ears are closed to the testimony of the Scriptures that you point out to them, to the point of vain reasonings of debate, then they would quickly point the fruit of the spirit to you judging you by it.
But Yahushua was not referring to the fruit of the spirit, instead He was referring to "the fruit of righteousness" the other side of the coin -- fruit.
Again, Yahushua was referring to the fruit of righteousness so that we would know who they really are.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who is winning lives is wise.

Yahushua began by driving out the money-changers in the temple, (Mat 21:12-17) to uncover the unrighteousness of those serving in the temple, specially the chief priests and scribes, (Mat 21:15). These are the so called experts, knowledgeable of the Torah, but they also put a fence around the Torah, as depicted in Amos 6:12.
Do horses run on a rock? Does one plough it with oxen? For you have turned right-ruling into poison, and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood,

This fence is the teachings and commands that is not from Yahuwah given to Moshe. Specifically not found in the Torah, in the five books of Moshe. But their addition, according to them, to guard the Torah, but what it does is make the Torah a burden.
Yahushua and Paul calls this fence "their works". Which today is very much misunderstood to mean "legalism" in a negative sense because they misunderstood the ministry of Yahushua in dismantling "the works" around the Torah. To cleverly mean to include the instructions of the Almighty, the Word of Yah, given to Moshe and Yahushua -- the Torah, without "the works".
Example: The Hebrew Roots Movement versus Judaism
Judaism is the "fence" or the "the works" around the Torah. The objective of the Hebrew Roots Movement is to get through the "fence", or wade through "the works" to get through the true instructions, commands, statutes, and right-ruling of the Almighty given to Moshe and Yahushua, the Torah.
Basically the same objective Yahushua repeatedly taught about bearing fruit of righteousness in parables, (Mat 21:18-46).
First, of the fig tree bearing no fruit (Mat 21:18-22), then they challenged His authority (Mat 21:23-27), then the parable of the two sons (Mat 21:28-32), and the parable of the tenants (Mat 21:33-46).
And He abundantly taught in parables to make His point across, that He means "the fruit of righteousness".
The word "righteousness" is a legal term, which means, in line with the law, or in accordance with the law, or in one word "legalism", because "unrighteousness" is also "illegalism".
And "the law" here means, the Torah of Yahuwah given to Moshe and lived and taught more fully by Yahushua.
Yahushua identifies these false prophets clearly in Mat 23:1-39.
saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh.

In a typical "church" there are many leaders. When one obeyed the command in Rev 18:4 one will have no more leaders to look up to, (or be influenced), but instead to Yahushua. And this is actually what is intended.

In today's context, by analogy through this account of Yahushua, these false prophets are basically the leaders of the "churches", and the so-called experts of the Bible. Protected behind the compartmentalized hierarchical structure of a legal organization, we identify as "the church".
Yahushua spoke of false prophets in two places, and I believe He meant two different scenarios in time. One being with the progression of the gospel message, this is in Mat 7:15. And the other one towards the end, perhaps at the door of the tribulation that is to come and forward, this is Mat 24:24.
The fruit that Yahushua refers to here, in Mat 7:15 is the result of their teachings. It means that IF the result of their teachings, their followers fall short to the standard -- "the Torah and the Testimony", which He frankly states "lawlessness" or shall we say "torah-lessness". Then that is their signature. These are the wolves in sheep's clothing.
For example: If they teach that the Almighty's Sabbaths and yearly appointed times are done away with at the stake. And they have followers (bad fruits) who believe them and follow their teachings. These are the false prophets. This has happened already and still happening in our time.
Also Yahushua said, that if it were possible even the very elect shall be deceived. (Mat 24:24) This is what I believe shall be at the door of the tribulation period. Because these false prophets will do miracles and wonders. I believe this is just beginning to happen and will intensify as we approach the tribulation period.
But He has also given us a little bit of hint in Mat 24:23:
“If anyone then says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe.

Again, Yahushua also warns that they will show great signs (miracles) and wonders.
There is also another kind of false prophet that Peter hinted us of a clever undertaking, he used the word "secrectly" or in KJV "privily", it can also mean "mystery".
Might this point to the works of the secret societies and its agents who have penetrated and conquered all known religions today?
I strongly believed it is.
Even the "restoration movements" -- "the Hebrew Roots Movement" today have them in the mixed already. Just like when the protestants came to America, in the early days, they too came. And undermined the protestant reformation teachings, and patiently doing their work.
And they have conquered all Christian Churches today. And I would like to remind you, please, verify each one of your doctrines, or what you believed faithfully. For your own sakes. So that when the son of perdition (2Th 2:3, Isa 14:12, 2Th 2:8,9) is released (2Th 2:6), you will not be delivered to him (2Th 2:11, Eze 20:25, Jn 9:39, Jn 12:40, Acts 7:42, Rom 1:24,25,26,27,28, 2Th 2:12).

This is very clever indeed because the "church" carry the banner of truth, but down the line is also untruth.
If it were false, might one recognize it?
But truth mixed with untruth?
So that the end manifestations is "Torah-less-ness or Lawlessness" in very subtle ways. That it might be fulfilled what has been said: "For the mystery of {iniquity/lawlessness/Torah-less-ness} is already working." ~ (2Th 2:7). Professing to believe in the truth but denying the way (2Ti 3:5).
Who Will Be Deceived?
Those who have fallen short of the Torah are the people that are destined to be deceived. Many of these peoples do not even know they have fallen short of the Torah. They have been deceived and did not even know it.
“My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.

These are innocent "Christian" people who carry the banner of truth but did not know they are also carrying untruth in the mixed. Seemingly righteous in their unrighteousness.
This is why they are considered "Torah-less/Lawless" (1Ti 1:8,9,10). Because of this "they did not receive the love of the truth".
[NOTE: Torah is often times translated as Law in the Bible. Torah is Instructions or Teachings, in the five books of Moses. Reading passages with the correct translations also reveals the intended meaning. So now, when you find "Law" in the Bible it should have been "Instructions" or "Teachings" or "Torah"]
and with all deceit of unrighteousness in those perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, in order for them to be saved.

You have already been chosen by the Father, YHWH, from the beginning "through" -- meaning -- by choosing to be chosen. How? By "sanctification of the Spirit".
Sanctification is a ceremony of setting-apart something or oneself (Ex 30:25,29,30,31,...).
So this ceremony of Setting-Apart IS of or coming from the Spirit, YHWH, the Father, because the Father is a Spirit ~ (Jn 4:24).
And we find this in the Torah (Ex 30:29, Lev 10:10 ...).
So this means obeying the Torah (or instructions of the Father~Ex 31:18) of how to set-apart ourselves (Ex 31:13), that we become set-apart.
Setting ourselves apart (Ex 31:13), because YHWH our Father is also Set-Apart (Lev 11:44,45); And when we set-apart ourselves the Father then sanctifies us (Ex 31:13,17, Rom 8:4, Jn 17:17).

Thus: "sanctification of the Spirit" because the Father is a Spirit, we worship him in Spirit and in Truth. These things we can learn from the Torah, and Yahushua, the Messiah, for He 'fully preached' (fulfilled) the Torah (Mt 5:17,18, Jn 17:17,19,20,21, Rom 10:4,5).

"Belief of the truth" -- Torah is the Truth (Psa 119:142), the Word of YHWH (Psa 19:7,119:105), Yahushua, the Messiah and His testimony (Jn 14:6, Jn 1:1-3, Rev 1:1,2,19:10).
Thus "belief of the truth" is believing in the testimony of the Messiah, Yahushua, that He was the Word (The Living Torah--a human being example of following the Torah, the promised seed, the human messiah ordained before the foundation of the world, He was the center of the plan of salvation of YHWH) in the beginning with YHWH. And believing in the "Word of YHWH", the Torah.
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Master Yahushua the Messiah.

Briefly About Prophets.
And He said, “Hear now My words: If your prophet is of יהוה, I make Myself known to him in a vision, and I speak to him in a dream.

Conclusion
Our main objective in building our Stable Data is basically aligning facts with our Stable Data and True Facts or Trustworthy Data.
Starting by grounding ourselves with the Basics -- The Shema, and the center of the plan of salvation of YHWH.
The center of the plan of salvation of YHWH is the human messiah prophesied by the prophets to come as Mashiach ben Yahseph, a suffering servant, which have already been fulfilled 2000 years ago, fulfilling the prophetic spring feasts, but He was taken unto Elohim, in which time He had conquered death for all of humanity, if they would only believed and not elevate him as god; and He will come again as Mashiach ben Dawid, a Royal Priest, fulfilling the prophetic fall feasts.
You have to be grounded on these two basics. To do that, you Must, clear it -- meaning -- study it thoroughly, personally, and experienced it firsthand to confirm it, making it Stable Data.
It cannot be Stable Data if you doubted whether the Almighty is one or two or three depending on how you look at it.
Without being grounded on these two basics, is the reason Elohim would lead one to be deceived 2Th 2:9-12.
We are admonished to ask for wisdom from the Father.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of YHWH, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

And with our Stable Data we are to "earnestly contend" every false fact we come to know.
Beloved ones, making all haste to write to you concerning our common deliverance, I felt the necessity to write to you urging you to earnestly contend for the belief which was once for all delivered to the set-apart ones.
(Jud 1:3 The Scriptures 1998+)
Here we are given another hint that the "belief which was once for all delivered to the set-apart ones". The keyword here is set-apart ones had the belief delivered to them once for all. Take note of that.
Everyone of us is called to do something for our Father above. We may not be in agreement today with trivial things. But that does not matter now. Because our level of understanding is not equal. What matters is if we have the precious truth in our hearts as stable data. And we are directly connected to the Master, Yahushua, the Messiah because He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Yahushua said to him, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

If you wish to start or begin your walk with YHWH, and His Messiah, Yahushua, the Living Word. Here is what Paul has taught us: Abstain from idols, fornication, things strangled and from blood:
But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
(Acts 15:20 WoY)That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

But it does not stop there. Every Sabbath you are to learn the rest of the instructions (Torah) in the assembly or congregation of Yahushua:
For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

So let us search for that precious gems of truth, And live with it to become a witness of that truth to others. That we may obtain grace from above and be given "the love of the truth".
And Better yet Pray. Ask to receive the love of the truth for it cannot be had by our own volition.
Satan will raise false prophets with all deceit of unrighteousness In those perishing because they did not receive the love of the truth (2Th 2:9,10). And YHWH will send them a working of delusion so that they will be deceived, so that they will not be saved. (2Th 2:11,12, Eze 20:25, John 9:39, John 12:40, Acts 7:42, Rom 1:24-28).
But we have been chosen from the beginning to be saved. But it is not forced on us, instead by choice we can be saved. By sanctifying ourselves of the Spirit. By setting ourselves apart because the Father is set-apart. And worship Him in Spirit because the Father is Spirit. He will then sanctify us. (Please see What Is Sanctification?)
But we ought to give thanks to Elohim always for you, brothers, beloved by the Master, because Elohim from the beginning chose you to be saved – in set-apartness of Spirit, and belief in the truth.1

Notice the keywords we have so far: **from the beginning** we are chosen to be saved, but we must have **belief** and now that we have heard the message and **believed** with the faith of Abraham, we then **set apart** ourselves according to the instructions (Torah), and we shall **receive**, the **love of the truth** in order for us to be saved.
