Where have they gone? Who are they now?

These are just a few of the questions this essay hopes to point to the true answers.

Etymology

The modern word "Hebrew" is derived from the word "Ibri" (plural "Ibrim"), one of several names for the Jewish people. It is traditionally understood to be an adjective based on the name of Abraham's ancestor, Eber ("Ebr" עבר in Hebrew), mentioned in Genesis 10:21. This name is possibly based upon the root "ʕ-b-r" (עבר) meaning "to cross over". In other words "Hebrew" means "immigrant"; Or "alien" if you might.

Abram was the first Hebrew, the first immigrant, the first alien:

And one who had escaped came and informed Aḇram the Heḇrew, for he dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamrĕ the Amorite, brother of Eshkol and brother of Anĕr, and they had a covenant with Aḇram.

Where Have They Gone?

"In the Hebrew text of the Bible, we can clearly see that the Serpent in the Garden of Eden is a Creditor (as in Banker). We can see that most all the words for serpent in Hebrew refer to debt and lending. The serpent lends at interest to the couple in the Garden of Eden. This is taking the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Credit and Debt. And the son born of this loan is called Cain, which means "purchase". And Cain, "Purchase", is the very first Seed of Commerce and the very first Murderer. The word Canaan is a pun outgrowth of the word Cain. Yahushua driving out the "den of robbers" and the "merchants" from the temple, on three different occasions, is so important it is mentioned in all four Gospels, (Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15, Luke 19:45, John 2:15).

Might that alludes to what is coming?

You might ask, immigrant to? or alien to? What? Where? The answer is in Genesis 12:1-7, they are alien to a promised land where "the Canaanite was then in the land", Gen 12:6c:

Now YHWH had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

So Abram departed, as YHWH had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Fast forward to our times, might "Hebrew" alludes to "called out ones"? Please hold that thought.

Who Are They Now?

In Egypt they were known as "Hebrews" -- "immigrants", "aliens" -- a distinct kind of people, Exo 1:19. Also the Philistines call them "Hebrews", 1Sam 29:3. Jonah identified himself as a "Hebrew", Jonah 1:9. And Shaul/Paul also identified himself as a "Hebrew", Phil 3:5.

Who are the "Hebrews" today? Shaul/Paul has given as a clue. In Phil 3:5, Shaul/Paul identified himself as a Hebrew. And here, he is telling his audience of his day, a principle which would also apply to our present times today.

And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of YHWH unto our fathers:

Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving Elohim day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

King Agrippa is also a descendant of Abraham, but not in the lineage of Jacob/Israel.

The "hope to come" is the "longing to attain" the hope of the promised kingdom of the seed of David, which already, at this point in time, already being preached as "the Kingdom of Elohim is at hand" by Yahushua HaMashiach, Mat 10:7. Which Shaul/Paul was also preaching, the same.

And these "Hebrews" "serve -- worship -- Elohim day and night". Meaning, they were followers of the Torah -- The Word of YHWH. Which is the same Word Yahushua HaMashiach was preaching more fully, by living by it as our example, that we might follow His Example.

There is a parallel call today, in our times, to All the inhabitants of the earth, it is found in Rev 18:4:

And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her (All Religions of the World, no exceptions, including All so-called Remnant Churches; in another word "repent" -- meaning -- destroy the house of sin -- sever your church membership -- and go back to the pure Word of YHWH -- the Torah; one will lose "false" friends and blood family, but will also gain true friends and Elohim's family in Yahushua HaMashiach), my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.1

Abram, was the first Hebrew, when he obeyed the call of YHWH to come out of his father's country, and to go to a country YHWH would show him.

We are told to come out of All religions. To go back to the Torah, Mal 4:4-6. Yahushua, also warned us, as we go, do not be deceived, to enter into Another religion, for they will say this is the Torah -- the Way, Mat 24:4. HaMashiach represents the Torah. He is the Master Teacher.

The Truth: Neh 9:13, Mal 2:6, Rom 2:20, Psa 119:142, Dan 9:13, John 1:17, Psa 147:19, Rom 3:2, 9:4

The Life: Pro 6:23, Psa 119:105, Pro 13:14, Rom 8:2
Yahushua, HaMashiach also said, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, John 14:6, -- meaning -- He is our Example of How we Should follow the Torah -- the Instructions of YHWH.

The peoples of the world is being called to "come out" of All Religions and Beliefs Systems. To enter into the Kingdom of YHWH that is coming very, very, soon, hopefully, in our lifetime, Dan 7:14,18,22,27, Mat 5:3,10,19,20, 6:10,33.

The Hebrews of the Last Days shall be identified as followers of the Torah.

Conclusion

Who are the Hebrews today?

And now, for the hope of the promise, (the coming everlasting Kingdom of the Offspring, Seed, Root of Dawid, in other words, not a bastard who happened to be adopted by the real Offspring of Dawid) which was made by Elohim to our fathers, I stand and am judged.

To this hope, our twelve tribes hope to come, (also hope to attain), with earnest prayers by day and by night: and for this same hope, king Agrippa, I am accused by the Jews, (or by those who pretend to be Spiritual Jews or Spiritual Remnant).
