The Appointed Sabbath of YHWH

Does our Father in heaven, YHWH, our Elohim, have appointments with us?

Yes He does. It is found in the Leviticus chapter 23.

Please note that the Appointed Sabbath/s of YHWH cannot be found in today's Pope Gregory's Calendar. The Sabbath was lost and buried in time.

Why is the Appointed Sabbath important?

It is what turns the wheel of Sanctification or Set-Apartness or Purification of the keepers by the Father, unto Yahushua. I prefer to use the words Set-Apartness or sometimes Purification. It is much clearer.

The Father's rest is the Sabbath rest unto Yahushua.

When we enter into the Father's Sabbath rest, He then purifies us, set us apart, or gives us unto Yahushua Messiah. And Yahushua Messiah will preserve His set-apart people until the last day. (see Enter Into His Rest)

Sanctification/Purification is the Father's ministry, His work. He is the one who choose people. And He choose people who turns the wheel of Set-Apartness/Purification. It is man who starts this wheel. It is this very purpose the Sabbath rest was made for man.

This is the vehicle of redemption created for man in the beginning. And man by his own will and volition can choose to enter into this vehicle and get it started; this vehicle -- the Father's rest or man can choose to ignore it altogether.

I pray that each one of us who earnestly seek the truth, will be lead to all the truths and find them. What I share in this essay and study is what I have found to be the true Sabbath Appointment of Yah.

But please do not believe me. Believe the Scriptures. So you must strive for yourself to know personally how to test any teachings using the standard of the Scripture to know whether it is the truth or whether it is fiction.

I trust and pray the Father, in the name of Yahushua Messiah he will give one the understanding with which we desire from Him -- to know and understand this truth. Ahmein!!!

The Sabbath

The Sabbath -- the last of Elohim's creation.

And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.
(Gen 2:2 The Scriptures 1998+)

And Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made.
(Gen 2:3 The Scriptures 1998+)

The Sabbath before the Ten Commandments was given to Moses

And he said to them, “This is what יהוה has said, ‘Tomorrow is a rest, a Sabbath set-apart to יהוה. That which you bake, bake; and that which you cook, cook. And lay up for yourselves all that is left over, to keep it until morning.’ ”
(Exo 16:23 The Scriptures 1998+)

And they laid it up till morning, as Mosheh commanded. And it did not stink, and no worm was in it.
(Exo 16:24 The Scriptures 1998+)

And Mosheh said, “Eat it today, for today is a Sabbath to יהוה, today you do not find it in the field.
(Exo 16:25 The Scriptures 1998+)

“Gather it six days, but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, there is none.”
(Exo 16:26 The Scriptures 1998+)

And it came to be that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.
(Exo 16:27 The Scriptures 1998+)

And יהוה said to Mosheh, “How long shall you refuse to guard My commands and My Torot1? Footnote: 1Torot - plural of Torah, teaching.
(Exo 16:28 The Scriptures 1998+)

“See, because יהוה has given you the Sabbath, therefore He is giving you bread for two days on the sixth day. Let each one stay in his place, do not let anyone go out of his place on the seventh day.”
(Exo 16:29 The Scriptures 1998+)

So the people rested on the seventh day1.
Footnote: The seventh day of the week, the weekly Sabbath, was observed before the Ten Words were given on Mt. Sinai.
(Exo 16:30 The Scriptures 1998+)

The Instructions (Torah) of the Sabbath rest.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart.
(Exo 20:8 The Scriptures 1998+)

‘Guard the Sabbath day, to set it apart, as יהוה your Elohim commanded you.
(Deut 5:12 The Scriptures 1998+)

“Six days you labour, and shall do all your work,
(Exo 20:9, Deut 5:13 The Scriptures 1998+)

but the seventh day is a Sabbath1 of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
Footnote: 1There are other Sabbaths, but this is the weekly Sabbath.
(Exo 20:10 The Scriptures 1998+)

but the seventh day is a Sabbath1 of יהוה your Elohim. You do not do any work – you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, so that your male servant and your female servant rest as you do.
Footnote: 1See footnote at Ex. 20:10.
(Deut 5:14 The Scriptures 1998+)

“For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore יהוה blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart.
(Exo 20:11 The Scriptures 1998+)

‘And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Mitsrayim, and that יהוה your Elohim brought you out from there by a strong hand and by an outstretched arm. Therefore יהוה your Elohim commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.
(Deut 5:15 The Scriptures 1998+)

What Is The Significance of The Appointed Sabbath?

It is a Sign between YHWH and Us, His true followers for all their generations. To know that YHWH is the one who set us apart.

“And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign1 between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, יהוה, am setting you apart.
Footnote: 1The only sign of יהוה setting us apart, the only sign of the everlasting covenant, is His Sabbaths, one of them being the seventh day Sabbath. This is repeated in Ezek. 20:12 & 20.
(Exo 31:13 The Scriptures 1998+)

Galatians 3:8

And the scripture, foreseeing that YHWH would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the glad tidings unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. (Gen 12:3)
(RNKJV)

And the Scripture, having foreseen that Elohim would declare right the nations by belief, announced the Good News to Aḇraham beforehand, saying, “All the nations shall be blessed in you,”
(The Scriptures 1998+)

Yah preached first to Abraham and Abraham obeyed, followed His instructions (Torah, Judgments, and Statutes). And the Sabbath rest is obviously one of the instructions, because as it says, it is a Sign, that it is Yah, that purifies those who take this sign. And Abraham took this sign obviously, because as we now know, he was called out, and he obeyed.

because Aḇraham obeyed My voice and guarded My Charge: My commands, My laws, and My Torot1.”
Footnote: 1Torot - plural of Torah, teaching
(Gen 26:5 The Scriptures 1998+)

That is how Israel came to be chosen, because their father Abraham, heard the message of Yah and obeyed.

Also note that this command also applies to 'strangers who are within their gates'. Which means, strangers can take part of this Torah and be blessed as well. And also note that Yahushua came to the world to save the world, meaning all peoples, and ALL peoples -- tongues and nations -- who obey, just like Abraham will be saved.

So, if one believes on Yahushua Messiah, and the Father who sent Yahushua Messiah, and obey and follow "the charge" -- commands, laws, and Torot -- one IS an Israelite. Because one will be grafted into Israel, so there will be no Jew or non-Jew when one becomes a believer.

And this instruction applies to All the children of Israel "throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant". The wall or the fence that was created by the Jews around the Torah, including the fence around this Sabbath rest is one of what Yahushua has shattered on the stake that All Peoples may Enter Into The Father's Rest unto Yahushua Messiah.

So, this command, is for us all. We can choose to follow it or not. And this is an everlasting covenant.

‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.
(Exo 31:16 The Scriptures 1998+)

‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
(Exo 31:17 The Scriptures 1998+)

There are also Yearly Sabbaths, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and in the Feast of Tabernacles which are also to be observed.

The Feast of Trumpets:

“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest, a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering.
(Lev 23:24 The Scriptures 1998+)

The Feast of Tabernacles:

‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you gather in the fruit of the land, observe the festival of יהוה for seven days. On the first day is a rest, and on the eighth day a rest.
(Lev 23:39 The Scriptures 1998+)

The Day of Atonement:

“And this shall be for you a law forever: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you afflict your beings, and do no work, the native or the stranger who sojourns among you.
(Lev 16:29 The Scriptures 1998+)

“It is a Sabbath of rest for you, and you shall afflict your beings – a law forever.
(Lev 16:31 The Scriptures 1998+)

Comparison between four Bible versions of Leviticus 16:30:

For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before YHWH.
(RNKJV)

For on that day shall the kohen make kapporah for you, to make you tahor, that ye may be tahor from all your chattot before Hashem.
(OJB)

Please note, "the priest" shall make an atonement for you. On the surface, this can be misunderstood as already been done away with on the stake, and because there is no temple today and there is no priest.

But also remember, Yahushua is now our High Priest (Heb 3:1, 4:14,15, 5:5,10, 6:20, 7:26, 8:1, 9:11, 10:21) who can make atonement for us on this day. And so the following versions make sense for us today.

For on this day He shall atone for you, to cleanse you from all your sins you shall be clean before YAHWEH.
(HRB)

“For on that day he makes atonement for you, to cleanse you, to be clean from all your sins before יהוה.
(The Scriptures 1998+)

YHWH's Calendar

“... At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses a matter is established.
(Deu 19:15 The Scriptures 1998+)

“... that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word might be established.’
(Mat 18:16 The Scriptures 1998+)

Now, here is the next question, How do we know which is Yah's Appointed Sabbath days? If these cannot be found in today's Pope Gregory's Calendar.

The enemy does not want us to learn how to enter into the Father's Sabbath rest. (Dan 7:25) So he created diversions buried in time, that the people of the last days who are hungry for truth may not find it so easily. It is so clever that the true Sabbath is even labeled false by already a large number of truth seekers who professed to have the truths.

and it speaks words against the Most High, and it wears out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and it intends to change appointed times1 and law2, and they are given into its hand for a time and times and half a time.
Footnotes: 1 This is another word for festivals. 2Changing the law amounts to lawlessness.
Read in 2 Thess. 2:3-12 about “the lawless one” and the “lawlessness” which would take over (indeed, it has already taken over!) in the set-apart place, and also about Messiah’s judgment upon the lawless “prophets” in Mt. 7:23, and the lawless “believers” in Mt. 13:41!
(Dan 7:25 The Scriptures 1998+)

But there will be a restoration of all the truths (Acts 3:21) before the dreadful day of the wrath of YHWH.

Daniel was later told, to hide and seal the details of His vision until "the time of the end". (Dan 12:4,9) We certainly are still in "the time of the end" for knowledge still increases, that includes our knowledge of the truths, such as the "appointed times" of Yah.

But you, Dani’ĕl, hide the words, and seal the book until the time of the end. Many shall diligently search and knowledge shall increase.”
(Dan 12:4 The Scriptures 1998+)

And he said, “Go, Dani’ĕl, for the words are hidden and sealed till the time of the end.
(Dan 12:9 The Scriptures 1998+)

Now, if you "shall diligently search" your "knowledge shall increase" as it is written. (Dan 12:4)

The First Witness:

And YHWH spake unto Moses, saying,
(Lev 23:1 RNKJV)

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the "feasts"H4150 of YHWH, which ye shall proclaim to be set-apart convocations, even these are my "feasts"H4150.
(Lev 23:2 RNKJV)

["emphasis mine"]

H4150
mô‛êd  mô‛êd  mô‛âdâh
mo-ade', mo-ade', mo-aw-daw'
From H3259; properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season;

Please note the Hebrew word "moed" which means "properly an appointment, that is, a fixed time or season" is translated as "feast", we read in KJV in this verse.

In other words, The "appointments" of Yah are translated as "feasts" in the KJV here in Leviticus. And Leviticus lists and defines the "feasts" of Yah. And in verse 2 Yah declares "these are my feasts" or in clear language 'these are my appointments' with you.

Clearly these are not Jewish feasts. But the Jews are the testimony that these are the feasts of YHWH that was instructed to them. That they have guarded it faithfully to the extent of putting a fence or wall around it that other peoples may not follow and share the blessings attached with it.

And the first of these appointments listed was the weekly Sabbath (Lev 23:3). So the Sabbath is a weekly appointment of YHWH.

Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an set-apart convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of YHWH in all your dwellings.
(Lev 23:3 RNKJV)

Now, let's look at another Hebrew root Bible version:

“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘The "appointed times" of יהוה, which you are to proclaim as set-apart gatherings, My appointed times, are these:
(Lev 23:2 The Scriptures 1998+)

‘Six days work is done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a set-apart gathering. You do no work, it is a Sabbath to יהוה in all your dwellings.
(Lev 23:3 The Scriptures 1998+)

["emphasis mine"]

YHWH's appointments here are translated as "appointed times", this is the same Hebrew word "moed"H4150, which is translated as "feasts" in the KJV Bible.

Whose feasts are these? Whose appointed times are these?

These are the "feasts" or "appointed times" or appointments of YHWH. Please note these are not Jewish Feasts or any other appointments of any other entities.

YHWH has defined a "moed"H4150, a fixed time or season or an appointment that man is commanded to proclaim. Remember, anyone can set their own "Appointed Times" or appointments. But these are YHWH's Appointed Times and the weekly Sabbath is one of them listed here to be reckoned the same as the yearly feasts are reckoned with in the Biblical Calendar. If there are any other Appointed Times of YHWH that are not listed here, then I believe they are not to be part of this list of appointments to be reckoned the same.

How many weekly appointed times are listed in here?

Note: only one weekly appointed times (Lev 23:3) and it is the weekly Sabbath rest. The yearly feasts or appointed times are then listed after this.

Today, the Calendar of YHWH is one of the revelations. Remember, it is one's responsibility to clear each teachings that finds one. (Please see How To Know If A Bible Doctrine Is True)

Many contend the Calendar of YHWH because the adversary has buried it for centuries of time. Please read the whole book of Hosea for understanding why YHWH Elohim allowed this to happen.

Many believed, the yearly appointments of YHWH and the weekly appointments of YHWH are reckoned on different calendars. Now, ask yourselves a simple honest question: Does it make sense that our Father in heaven, would give us two different calendars for us to keep His appointments with us?

One Calendar being His Calendar, and the other man's Calendar?

Now, many already agree about the reckoning of the yearly appointments or feasts of YHWH. Which can only be reckoned with, only by the Lunar Months in the Biblical calendar which is Luni-Solar Calendar.

Therefore, the weekly Sabbath must also be reckoned, with the same Biblical calendar. However, one will find many contentions about this subject. About the Biblical calendar, and about the reckoning of the Sabbath rest on the Biblical calendar. So one must diligently, prayerfully clear this, personally, firsthand, faithfully. And let this be a starting point.

For myself, I believe and trust the Lunar Monthly reckoning of WorldsLastChance.com is the correct one, according to the Scriptures. The actual year I cannot yet clear for myself. We do not know what year we are Biblically right now yet. The start of the year I believe is correct.

I have found at least five kinds of calendars in this line in the Internet. Two solar calendars and three lunar solar calendars. None of them agree. Be diligent.

But, rather than stick with what was taught traditionally to me, to follow Pope Gregory's "Solar Saturday Sabbath" rest, on his Calendar, I opted to study and learn to find YHWH's Sabbath appointments on His calendar. And have now settled on the WorldsLastChance.com.

After I have studied about the Lunar Sabbath rest. I believed the appointed Sabbath rest is to be reckoned also, in the same way as the yearly feasts are reckoned, by the lunar months, because it is also listed together with these in Leviticus chapter 23. Biblically, and logically this choice is sound for me. This is now commonly known as the Lunar Sabbath, because by virtue it is reckoned by the Lunar Months.

The Second Witness:

Genesis 1:14 ~ "signs=signal"H226 "Let there be"H1961 and "seasons=Appointed Times"H4150

And Elohim said, “Let "lights"H3974 "come to be"H1961 in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for "signs"H226 and "appointed times"H4150, and for days and years,
(Gen 1:14 The Scriptures 1998+)

And Elohim said, "Let there be"H1961 lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for "signs"H226, and for "seasons"H4150, and for days, and years:
(Gen 1:14 RNKJV)

["emphasis mine"]

Please note "appointed times" here is also the same Hebrew word "moed"H4150 in KJV it is translated as "seasons" in this verse, and translated as "feast" in Leviticus chapter 23. Please note this as "Appointed Times" or simply appointments.

Let the Sunlight/Creatorlight Be(H1961)! Which is it?

Now, Let us compare for a moment the "Light"H216 in Genesis 1:3 and the "Lights"H3974 in Genesis 1:14 ~

And Elohim said, "Let there be"H1961 "light"H216: and there was "light"H216.
(Gen 1:3 RNKJV)

and God saith, `Let light be;'H1961 H216 and "light"H216 is.
(Gen 1:3 YLT)

And Elohim said, “Let light come to be,”H1961 H216 and "light"H216 came to be.
(Gen 1:3 The Scriptures 1998+)

And Elohim saw the "light"H216, that it was good. And Elohim separated the "light"H216 from the darkness.
(Gen 1:4 The Scriptures 1998+)

And Elohim called the "light"H216 ‘day’ and the darkness He called ‘night.’ And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the first day.
(Gen 1:5 The Scriptures 1998+)

["emphasis mine"]

H216
'ôr
ore

From H215; illumination or (concretely) luminary (in every sense, including lightning, happiness, etc.): - bright, clear, + day, light (-ning), morning, sun.

H1961
היה
hâyâh
haw-yaw'

A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use.

Please NOTE: The Light in the first day is Basically The Light of the Sun (H216). And not the light emanating from the Creator as many teachers would have us believed. The Light of the Sun was "brought forth" on the first day of the creation week.

Therefore: The Sun was created "In The Beginning" with the heavens and the earth, before the light was "brought forth"H1961 on the first day.

In the same logic, the moon as the lesser light, and also the stars as part of the heavens was also created "In The Beginning".

IF that is SO, THEN, what was created in the fourth day? In a moment.

Was there a beginning before the creation week? If there was, What was created in the beginning?

In the beginning Elohim "created"H1254 the heaven and the earth.
(Gen 1:1 RNKJV)

H1254
בּרא
bârâ'
baw-raw'

A primitive root; (absolutely) to create; (qualified) to cut down (a wood), select, feed (as formative processes): - choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do, make (fat).

"In The Beginning" Elohim "created"H1254 (bârâ') -- from nothing, the very first time -- the heaven and the earth.

Was "In The Beginning" within the first day? Or Was it Before the first day? It does imply that it could NOT be either. See?!!!

This is not Stable Data yet, but it is already Trustworthy. Please take note of that so we won't be dogmatic about it.

However, in Gen 2:1 could also mean that the "heavens and the earth were created in the same week" and we see that the "heavens and the earth" was created "in the day that YHWH Elohim made the earth and the heavens," (Gen 2:4).

This can mean that the phrase "In The Beginning" was part of the first day, BEFORE Light was brought forth. Therefore, "In The Beginning" was also the beginning of the first day. And the heavens, including the sun, moon and the stars and the earth were "created"H1254, and then the Light of the sun was "brought forth"H1961.

Whether "in the beginning" was contained in one day or not, would it matter? I believe not, at least for now, but it's worth noting.

In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth.
(Gen 1:1 The Scriptures 1998+)

And the earth came to be1 formless and empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Elohim was moving on the face of the waters.
Footnote: 1Or the earth became.
(Gen 1:2 The Scriptures 1998+)

If the Light of the sun was brought forth on the first day. Before the first day of creation there was a beginning, with which "Elohim created the heavens and the earth". Which means, the sun, moon and stars was also created "in the beginning" as part of the "heavens and the earth".

And between verses 1 and 2 and 3 there can be millions of years in between, or there is none.

And "in the beginning" the earth was without form and without light, there was no light of the sun we know today. The earth was enveloped in darkness.

Please note, the heavens, including the sun, moon, and the stars and the earth already existed in verse 2. Yet There was no Light from the sun, moon and the stars. Because Light was brought forth on verse 3. Follow? If the Light of the sun was brought forth on the First day, in verse 3, what was created on the fourth day? In a moment.

Now let us see the "Lights"H3974 in the fourth day.

And Elohim said, “Let "lights"H3974 come to be in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for "signs"H226 and "appointed times"H4150, and for days and years,
(Gen 1:14 The Scriptures 1998+)

and let them be for "lights"H3974 in the expanse of the heavens to give "light"H215 on the earth.” And it came to be so.
(Gen 1:15 The Scriptures 1998+)

H3974
mâ'ôr  mâ'ôr  me'ôrâh  me'ôrâh
(1,2) maw-ore', (3,4) meh-o-raw'

From H215; properly a luminous body or luminary, that is, (abstractly) light (as an element); figuratively brightness, that is, cheerfulness; specifically a chandelier: - bright, light.

Please note the phrase "specifically a chandelier", "luminous body", "an element". These alludes that lights already exists. And also alludes that they are now assigned their specific functions, such that of a chandelier, an element, a luminary. Let us examine further.

And Elohim "made"H6213 (H853) two great "lights":H3974 (H853) the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser "light"H3974 to rule the night, and the stars.
(Gen 1:16 The Scriptures 1998+)

And Elohim "made"H6213 (H853) two great "lights";H3974 (H853) the greater "light"H3974 to rule the day, and the lesser "light"H3974 to rule the night: he made the stars also.
(Gen 1:16 KJV+)

H6213
עשׂה
‛âśâh
aw-saw'

A primitive root; to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application: - accomplish, advance, appoint, apt, be at, become, bear, bestow, bring forth, bruise, be busy, X certainly, have the charge of, commit, deal (with), deck, + displease, do, (ready) dress (-ed), (put in) execute (-ion), exercise, fashion, + feast, [fight-] ing man, + finish, fit, fly, follow, fulfil, furnish, gather, get, go about, govern, grant, great, + hinder, hold ([a feast]), X indeed, + be industrious, + journey, keep, labour, maintain, make, be meet, observe, be occupied, offer, + officer, pare, bring (come) to pass, perform, practise, prepare, procure, provide, put, requite, X sacrifice, serve, set, shew, X sin, spend, X surely, take, X thoroughly, trim, X very, + vex, be [warr-] ior, work (-man), yield, use.

Please note the word "made", the Hebrew word is "‛âśâh" -- Strong's H6213 which means was made, appointed, or assigned.

It does not mean, it was created for the very first time. What was already created "In The Beginning", and through it light was brought forth on the first day.

In the fourth day it was "appointed" its function. The sun and the moon was assigned or appointed their functions in this day, the fourth day.

The sun and the moon and the stars were already created "in the beginning"; remember? They were not created on the fourth day.

These Lights on the fourth day was clearly appointed or assigned their functions. "The greater light to rule the day" -- the Sun, "and the lesser light to rule the night" -- the moon and the stars. To separate light from the darkness.

To separate day and night, and to "be signs, and appointed times, and for days and years" -- calendation. The two lights -- the sun and the moon are the two witnesses in the heavens, of YHWH's calendar -- Lunar Solar Calendar -- as commonly known today.

And Elohim set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,
(Gen 1:17 The Scriptures 1998+)

and to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good.
(Gen 1:18 The Scriptures 1998+)

And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, the fourth day.
(Gen 1:19 The Scriptures 1998+)

Remember this, on the first day light was brought forth, the light of the sun, Gen 1:3. What was created "in the beginning" was the "heavens" including the sun, the moon, and the stars and the earth, Gen 1:1,2.

What was created on the fourth day was their appointments. Again the Hebrew word is "moed" which was translated as "seasons" and "feasts" in the KJV Bible.

Moving on.

The Third Witness

Please note here again the Hebrew words for "made = appointed"H6213 and "seasons = Appointed Times"H4150.

Psalms 104:19

He "made"H6213 the moon for seasons (mo'edim)H4150; the sun knows its going down.
(HRB)

He "appointed"H6213 the moon for "seasons"H4150: the sun knoweth his going down.
(KJV)

He "made"H6213 the moon for "appointed times"H4150; The sun knows its going down.
(The Scriptures 1998+)

Please note: The moon is clearly what sets YHWH's Appointed Times listed in Leviticus chapter 23. The moon is clearly to mark the "mo'edim" -- appointments, or Appointed Times. In other words, YHWH's "moedim" or Appointed Times, that includes the Sabbaths, that are listed Only in Leviticus Chapter 23 are pointed to by the moon.

Therefore, YHWH's Calendar is the sun and the moon and the stars. Today, it is commonly known as Lunar Solar Calendar. And the true Lunar Solar Calendar of the Bible must be testified by the sun, the moon, and the stars.

The sun marks the days and years; the moon marks the dates, weeks, months, and determines the start of the year along with the sun and the stars.

And His Appointed Times, in Leviticus chapter 23, which includes the Sabbaths, weekly and yearly, are to be pointed to by the moon.

New moon days are a day of its own. It is a rest day, but It is distinct from Sabbath, It is not Sabbath day, it is separate from all the rest of the days. It is not part of a week. 2Ki 4:23, Isa 66:23, Eze 45:17, 46:1,4, Col 2:16, Amos 8:5

New moon is a marker that a new month has began and points to the beginning of the new week as well. New moon days are also worship days, but is not like the Sabbath days. However, one can do work, travel, and do more on new moon days.

And whether one can or cannot do commerce -- buy or sell -- on new moon days. This I have just cleared and verified, that the Israelites refrain from doing commerce on new moon days (Neh 10:31).

and that if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we would not buy it from them on the Sabbath, or on a set-apart day, and we would forego the seventh year and the interest of every hand.
(Neh 10:31 The Scriptures 1998+)

“And it shall be that from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares יהוה.
(Isa 66:23 The Scriptures 1998+)

‘Thus said the Master יהוה, “The gate of the inner courtyard facing east is shut the six days of work, but on the Sabbath it is opened, and on the day of the New Moon it is opened.
(Eze 46:1 The Scriptures 1998+)

The Biblical Calendar originally have 30-day months and 360-day years, until the time of King Hezekiah when YHWH moved back the shadow of the sun 10 degrees. So that the suns movement in relation with the moon was altered. If both the sun and the moon where stopped as the case with one of Israel's battles where the day stood still until they have completely defeated their enemies. This alludes that the sun and the moon both stopped.

The Hebrew word for week is "shabuwa" which means seven, or period of seven days. The lunar months only have four weeks. Whereas some months on the Roman Calendar have 5 weeks. So, to say that lunar months can have 8-day or 9-day week is misleading. Because the Hebrew week is seven days, and qualified with six work days and end with the Sabbath day.

What we must understand is the Hebrew month is according to the phases of the moon. A month renews with the moon, as soon as it begins to reflect light after conjunction. So a month can only have four Hebrew weeks.

So, in this case, the 30th day would not constitute a week because (1) a week is a period of seven days, and the 30th day is the last day of the month, and therefore it is not a week according to the Hebrew definition of week. (2) Because it will be interrupted by the new moon day. And the new moon day marks the beginning of the month and points to the beginning of the week. The 30th day then is a type of a preparation day, the same as the 6th day of the week.

One cannot say that the last week of a lunar month has become 8-day week or 9-day week, as contenders of the true Sabbath would have us believed. Why? (1) Because a week is a period of seven days. (2) And we know also that a week ends with a Sabbath rest. So, after the Sabbath rest, the week has concluded and another week follows OR either the 30th-day or the new moon day follows.

The Hebrew idiomatic expression: "the day and the hour that no one knows" refers to these days.

Some contends that the 30th days and the new moon days are considered extra days. The meaning of the word "extra" means "added to an existing or usual amount or number".

I never consider these "extra days" or "added days". These days have always been a part of the lunar months. And to call these "added days" is really misleading. These are always IN the lunar months. Except, these are not part of a week.

However, on Roman Calendars one can readily see extra days and even weeks on a 5 week months and days. How? Just by looking at any Roman Calendars we used today. Because the week continuous from month to month so that days can be seen as added to the previous month or days from the previous month appear to be added in the present month. They are not really added, but they appear to be, and they function like it is, because there really is no distinction from month to month.

It is for this reason that the Jews in Israel today would sometimes have to move a yearly festival because of conflict of Pope Gregory's Saturday Sabbath. Because the Jews today also followed Pope Gregory's Calendar, because they were forced, persecuted, by the Romans, and in order to stop the persecution they agreed to follow the Roman dictates.

And these actually are two witnesses for the Romans to Satan that the L-rd's day is established as Sunday, because the Sabbath Day is Saturday for the Jews, the keeper of the Torah, and some Seventh-Day Christians kept Saturday as their Sabbath Day rest, also. Two witnesses established for the adversary in defiance against YHWH, the One True Elohim.

If we looked at the lunar months on this viewpoint our understanding of the lunar months will be messed up. Such as seeing an 8-day week or a 9-day week. Because the adversary wants one to look at it at that viewpoint.

Because the other viewpoint, you would be rehearsing on "the day and the hour, no one knows" and you might escaped from the gripped of the enemy, the prince of the darkness.

Remember, the appointments of YHWH are also a type of a rehearsal for all followers. And watching for the signs and the appointments or appointed times in the heavens is one of them.

As can be demonstrated by anyone, readily, the Lunar Months starts with the New Moon. So, with the New Moon, a new month begins. And with the New Moon, a new week is pointed to begin.

What About the Manna on "extra days"

Exodus 16:4

Then said YHWH unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
(RNKJV)

And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, I am raining bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, in order to try them, whether they walk in My Torah or not.
(The Scriptures 1998+)

And YAHWEH said to Moses, Behold, I AM will rain bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather the matter of a day in its day, so that I may test them, whether they will walk in My Torah or not.
(HRB)

Then said Hashem unto Moshe, Hineni, I will rain lechem from Shomayim upon you; and HaAm shall go out and gather a certain daily provision, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My torah, or no.
(OJB)

Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
(WoY)

The manna was given to "prove", to "try", to "test" them, "whether they will walk in my law/Torah or not".

Question, do they use a Roman Calendar at that time? Obviously not. And because they just came out of Egypt, we can deduced that they somehow use the Egyptian calendar.

Now, if they are taught YHWH's calendar, they would obviously used YHWH's calendar too. Which is Lunar Solar Calendar. Which has four Hebrew weeks -- a period of seven days. It begins on a New Moon day, and ends on the 29th day or the 30th day.

One can readily see the Hebrew weeks, on a lunar month. One cannot be mistaken. Because a week is defined as a period of seven days, and ends on a Sabbath rest. Therefore a lunar month only has four periods of seven days, that ends on a Sabbath rest.

Now, What is the purpose of the manna? It is to "prove", to "try", to "test" them, whether they will follow the Torah/law.

What is the Torah here? To keep the Sabbath rest.

Where can one find the Sabbath rest? In the four weeks of the Lunar Months.

When should one expect manna to fall? In the four weeks of the Lunar Months.

And Why? (1) Because the manna is to "prove", to "try", to "test" ... and (2) Because those are the weeks of the Lunar Months.

Did the manna fall on the New Moon days and the 30th days? The Bible is silent about it. But we can deduce, that it did not because in it, it cannot fulfill the test whether they would observed the Sabbath. which is the reason of the manna. And the Sabbath can be found only in a week, new moon days and 30th days are referred as the days where "the day and the hour, no one knows".

Was the manna given because they have no more food? No. The manna was given to "prove", to "try", to "test" -- this is the purpose of the manna. And not any other wise. And to say differently other than this, is utterly false, and can be twisted as truth, hence, untruth.

What if they ran out of food? Well, of course they have the manna. We also know that YHWH have provided them with quails before the manna. So we can deduce that YHWH has provided them well, is able to provide them, and can provide for them. Where the Bible is silent, it means it does not belong to us.

This essay represents what I have fully learned and understood and cleared from the Scriptures. There are many contentions out there, because true worship to YHWH, Elohim is His SIGN and HIS SEAL.

The adversary, will do whatever he can to seduce anyone to do anything other than worship on the true appointed times of YHWH on His calendar. So that one will not be saved.

Please, ask YHWH, the Father, to guide you to ALL the truths that will be restored in our time. Do not believe anyone, not even me. Believe only on the "Torah and the Testimony". If it is in the "Torah of Moshe" and established with "two or three witnesses", then it is the "True Light", follow it, that is The Way, The Truth and The Life. And Guard IT.

Yahushua said: "Guard my commands". The "Torah" are the "commandments of YHWH". And the "commands of Yahushua" are the "commands of YHWH", for He is also called the "Living Torah". Take these as your starting points on your journey to clearing doctrines and facts specially when you feel in your heart the contention.

YHWH Bless you!
