The Pledge Of Redemption

But He who establishes us with you in Messiah and has anointed us is Elohim,

who also sealed us, and gave the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your deliverance, in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Set-apart Spirit of promise,

who is the pledge of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His esteem. (Eph 1:14 The Scriptures 1998+)

And do not grieve the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Who Seals Us?

The Father sealed us with His Set-apart Spirit (Ruach HaQodesh) as a pledge for the day of redemption when we heard the Word(Torah) of the Truth(Yahushua) and believed.

Again, let me repeat that:

The Father sealed us with His Ruach HaQodesh (Set-apart Spirit) as a pledge for the day of redemption when we heard the Word(Torah) of the Truth(Yahushua) and believed. Meaning converted.

So at the time of our conversion, we are sealed by the Father with His Ruach HaQodesh as a pledge for the day of redemption.

Please note, the Set-apart Spirit -- The Ruach HaQodesh is the Father himself (John 4:24).

Also NOTE: The "Comforter or Helper" is also the "Advocate", who is the Messiah Himself. So both the Father and the Son in the Ruach HaQodesh of the Father (the other is in the name of Yahushua) make their stay in us. IF... (Notice, there is a condition.)

Many of our Christian brothers and sisters refer to this "conversion" as being saved. And some would even add "once saved always saved". This is just half of the truth. And remember, half-truths are very subtle lies.

The second half of the truth is keeping the seal unbroken. Yes, the pledge of redemption comes with a condition.

The Condition Of The Pledge

There is a condition for the Ruach HaQodesh to dwell in us that Yahushua Messiah has repeatedly reminded us, that is: "Guard My Commands" And His commands are not His but coming from the Father.

יהושע answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he shall guard My Word. And My Father shall love him, and We shall come to him and make Our stay with him.

“He who does not love Me does not guard My Words. And the Word which you hear is not Mine but of the Father Who sent Me.

And the one guarding His commands stays in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He stays in us, by the Spirit which He gave us.1

Being saved actually means being pledged for redemption at the appointed time to come IF the condition is met.

Therefore, most Christians missed the significance of this, that this is a pledge of redemption until that day of redemption that we are waiting to come very soon, hopefully in our lifetime. This will happen when Yahushua is finished in ministering for our behalf in the Most Set-apart place in the temple in heaven.

And many are taking it for granted for as they say "once saved always saved" and therefore most are unaware how they grieved the Ruach HaQodesh of the Father.

The life of a true follower of The Way "a Messianic or a Christian" is a life of obedience to His commands. And His commands is also known as the Word, also known as the Torah, also known as the Way, Truth, and the Life.

And truth is progressive. Many truths are uncovered in our day and are restored but sadly, only a few recognized the truths because many Already do not know How to Know The Truth from the fiction. Because all churches say this is the truths -- meaning -- truths are relative to who says it is the truth.

But all religions and all christian churches do have some common truths. It is each individual's responsibility to wade through all the mesh to find the truths.

I proposed we should all view the churches as different classrooms for our learning and advancement of the truths. And as a personal quest learn How To Know The Truth According To the Scriptures. Therefore, we should continue on searching for the truths. And our allegiance should be to the truths, and not to the authorities of a church or a government.

The Pledge

A "pledge" is a "a solemn promise".

Therefore, "The Pledge Of Redemption" is a solemn promise by Elohim, our Father to All who acknowledged by obedience to His commands.

A "pledge" is a "foretaste" of what is to come. A "foretaste" can be said as a down payment, Or it can be said as a sample.

Therefore, what is to come is the fullness of what has been pledged. The fullness of it shall be fulfilled yet in the "Appointed Time". Likewise, the fullness of "The Pledge Of Redemption" will be fulfilled in the "Appointed Time" of YHWH.

The pledge is His Ruach HaQodesh (Set-apart Spirit), and it came with a warning:"do not grieve the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim".

Since the "foretaste" is the Ruach HaQodesh of the Father, therefore the fullness of it is the full taste of the Father in us. We shall be glorified by the Father as Yahushua Messiah was glorified by the Father being the first-born. (Rom 8:17,29,30, 2Th 1:12, Eph 3:19, Rom 8:14,15)

And all that was promised as an inheritance to those who obey Him. (Acts 20:32, 26:18, Gal 3:18, Eph 1:11,14,18, Eph 5:5, Col 1:12, 3:24, Heb 9:15, Heb 11:8, 1Pe 1:4)

Now Notice, why this is the least understood passage of the "Gospels", is because of the Trinitarian and the Binitarian doctrines and the like doctrines which capitalizes on the statement of Yahushua that He is "the Son of Elohim", pushing their doctrine of Trinity or Binity.

And hush-hush on the teaching about the "Pledge of Redemption" Because IT will reveal beautifully what Yahushua meant of being the Son of Elohim of which He is the first-born, and through Him we become His brethren. And what does that make of us? Elohim is it not?

And IF we are elohim, then the doctrine of the Trinity, the Binity and the like is nullified. Because there can be many of us who are elohim and be united, or BE as ONE with the Father and the Son. Consider this few passages:

יהושע answered them, “Is it not written in your own Torah, ‘I said, “You are elohim” ’?(Psa 82:6)

“If He called them elohim, to whom the word of Elohim came – and it is impossible for the Scripture to be broken –

but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him.”

We Shall Be Like Yahushua

For we shall be like Him (Yahushua, Messiah) and The Father In Us:

Because those whom He knew beforehand, He also ordained beforehand to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, for Him to be the first-born among many brothers.

And whom He ordained beforehand, these He also called, and whom He called, these He also declared right. And whom He declared right, these He also esteemed.

to know the love of Messiah which surpasses knowledge, in order that you might be filled to all the completeness of Elohim.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

That redemption day is the resurrection day. The beginning of the millennial day. Is it going to be at dawn? (Psa 46:5)

Elohim is in her midst, she does not topple; Elohim does help her when morning turns.

The Father In US

Notice the passage that hinted we will know we have the Ruach HaQodesh for it instructs us to renounce wickedness (Titus 2:12). We may fall at times but because of the Ruach HaQodesh (The Father IN us), we get back at striving to become perfect even as He is perfect.

“Therefore, be perfect,1 as your Father in the heavens is perfect.

The Battle Within (For Our Soul)

How the Spirit (the Father) is grieved. And what must we do for Him to stay IN us.

Let all bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander be put away from you, along with all evil.

And be kind towards one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as Elohim also forgave you in Messiah.

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: whoring, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and greed of gain, which is idolatry.

Because of these the wrath of Elohim is coming upon the sons of disobedience,1

where there is not Greek and Yehuḏite, circumcised and uncircumcised, foreigner, Scythian, slave, free, but Messiah is all, and in all.

While we are in this world, we cannot avoid being put down at times, if not many times, and evil: "bitterness, and wrath, and displeasure, and uproar, and slander" could sneaked in as a result. This is Why Yahushua many times says "guard My Words", and His Words are not His but from the Father.

After our conversion into Yahushua HaMashiach, we are sealed with the Ruach HaQodesh of promise. This is why our adversary will recognize us as a target to be deceived, to be seduced into "missing the mark" -- sinning.

Please note "Torah" means "instructions" and the root word means "hitting the mark". Interestingly,Sinning in Hebrew means missing the mark. Therefore, if we follow the Torah we are hitting the mark. Are we hitting the mark? (following the Torah?)

Please note: that when a person is saved, that person is free from the bondage of past sins. Hence, that person obtains liberty and still comes with the freedom to choose, unfortunately our choices is a choice whether to sin or follow the "instructions of YHWH" (Col 3:5).

And we, as a spiritual being will notice a spiritual dialogue going on, we sometimes identify as thoughts of conscience, our spiritual self is making a dialogue with the Set-apart Spirit sealed in us. If we sinned, He is grieved. And if one continue on sinning one will come to appoint where the dialogue is no longer noticed -- the Set-apart Spirit has left, and the seal of the pledge of redemption is broken. (Rom 8:16,17)

This is why we have to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and holding every thought captive.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.

overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah,

The sealing happens when we heard the word of the truth, the good news of salvation, and after we believed, we are sealed by Elohim and given the Set-apart Spirit of Elohim as a pledge of redemption. Might this be the "Helper" or the "Comforter" or the Father?

Sealed By Obedience To The Torah

How are we sealed?: By hearing the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation, in whom also, having believed1, you were sealed.
Footnote: 1 having believed means having obeyed -- guard His commands.

Might the "the word of the truth" be "the Word of the Messiah"? Which is the Word of Elohim, which is the Torah?

Then Guard the Torah!

What was it that was heard from the beginning?

And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, I am coming to you in the thick cloud, so that the people hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” And Mosheh reported the words of the people to יהוה.

The children of Israel, some 600,000 men not counting the women and children, (scholars estimates about 3 million people,) have heard the voice of Elohim as He spoke to them the "Ten Words". After which they ask Moshe to speak with them and Elohim speak with Moshe alone (Exo 20:19). So the rest of the Torah Moshe wrote as dictated by YHWH to him.

Please note: The Torah of Moshe, the words of the prophets with a "thus says YHWH", and the "commands" of Yahushua, IS The Word of YHWH.

“For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that Elohim created man on the earth, and ask from one end of the heavens to the other end of the heavens, whether there has been a Word as great as this, or has been heard like it.

“Has a people heard the voice of Elohim speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?

Please note: the ten commandments is in the Torah.

"VeZot haTorah—This is the Torah that Moses set before the people Israel--by the mouth of God, through the hand of Moses."1

At the command of יהוה they camped, and at the command of יהוה they departed. They guarded the Charge of יהוה, at the command of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh.

Beresheeth (the beginning) was the Miltha the Living Torah, and the Living Torah was with YHWH, and the Living Torah was YHWH.

All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.

RSTNE Commentary:

"Aramaic word is miltha, meaning force, emanation, power, substance and Torah/Word. It is a unique word, to apply a unique term to the many manifestations of YHWH. Unlike the Hebrew avar, or Greek logos, or the Aramaic memra, miltha has no direct equivalent term in any other language including Hebrew. It is a female noun surrounded by two male verbs. This displays the fact that the Creator has dual characteristics of both male and female. This is more proof of the Aramaic primacy of the Renewed Covenant."

So, what was "heard from the beginning"? The "Word" also known as the "Torah" is what was "heard from the beginning".

The beginning was the Word (The Torah), The Word was with YHWH (spoken to Moshe), and The Word was YHWH, -- Elohim put The Words in the mouth of Yahushua (Deut 18:17-19). Therefore, Yahushua is the Living Torah.

Conclusion

The Pledge Of Redemption is the Ruach HaQodesh of the Father.

The Pledge Of Redemption is also the Seal of the Father. (Rev 7:3)

The Ruach HaQodesh of the Father is the Pledge Of Redemption, is the Seal of the Father. (Rev 7:3)

The Pledge Of Redemption is a foretaste of the Father IN Us. To be redeemed in Full at an "Appointed Time" (Leviticus chapter 23) of the Father.

This happens upon our conversion to Yahushua Messiah, Having heard the message(salvation or deliverance) of THE Truth (Yahushua, Messiah) Helping Us to discern His instructions (Torah or The Word) being "fully preached" (Mat 5:17 "fulfill" or "complete") to us through His Son, Yahushua Messiah, that we may obey Him -- The Father is then glorified through His Son. (Eph 1:13,14)

The Seal is the Father Himself IN Us. That we may know the Father and the Son Staying IN Us IF we love Yahushua Messiah and guard His commands, and His commands come from the Father. (John 14:23,24)

If we truly love Yahushua Messiah, it is but natural to guard His commands. And we should know that the Father and the Son is IN us,

1) because we call upon Him our Father, and ask anything in the name of His Son Yahushua Messiah, and believed, (Rom 8:14,15)
2) by the dialogue between our spirit and the Spirit of Them that is IN Us, we normally identify as the voice of conscience, and because of this we strive to "hit the mark", (Rom 8:12,13)
3) by the testimony of our spirit, we know we are ONE with the Father and the Son. (Rom 8:16,17)
